– Three year varsity letterman
– Two way starter as a senior
– Honorable mention All Met 1989
– National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame scholar athlete award recipient
Career at Virginia Tech:
– John William Schneider Award for excellence in football, academics and leadership
– Four year letterman as a defensive back at Virginia Tech. Started as a Senior
– Big East Special Teams player of the week 1991
– 6 career interceptions
– 2 blocked kicks
– 145 tackles
– 95 yard interception return (school record at the time)

Kevin Davis, DeMatha 1987 Chief Davis
Career at DeMatha:
-Played under legendary head coach Bill McGregor
-Starting guard on 1986 team that finished ranked No. 6 in the nation
-Inducted to DeMatha Hall of Fame in 2005
Career at Towson:
-Named All-Potomac Rugby Union for his play at Towson University
Law Enforcement Career:
-Joined Prince George’s County Police Dept. in 1992
-Earned rank of Major in 2005, assigned to Hyattsville station as its Commander.
-Appointed Deputy Chief for Prince George’s County in 2009
-Appointed Assistant Chief in 2011
-July 2013 retired from the Prince George’s County Police Department to take over as Chief of Police for the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Career at DeMatha:
-Played as a running back and defensive back on varsity in 1985 and 1986.
-Played for Bill McGregor on the undefeated team in 1985
-Three year letterman in track/field (hurdles, 400M and 1600M relay)
Career as a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve:
-1986-1992 served in Marine Corps reserves
-Deployed to Southeast Asia in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm
Career as a football referee:
-1993 joined Eastern Board of Officials in Washington D.C. to work high school games
-1996 officiated first college football game in the MEAC.
-1999 hired by Big East conference to work as back judge.
-After working two years in NFL Europe, hired by the NFL as a back judge in 2003.
-Has now officiated two conference championships and Super Bowl XLIV between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts.
